We mainly produce a full range of manual operating self-centring chucks and 4 jaw independent chucks for lathe machine use. (Ref.Index1)
The self-centring chuck's mounting type includes cylindrical center mounting and short taper mounting.
The chucks with cylindrical mounting are normally installed onto the spindle nose by an adapter plate.
Chucks with taper mounting can be installed onto the lathe machine directly. Rod short taper spindle noses. There are four types: A1, A2, C & D. In the case of an A type mount, Except a small quantity lathes due to the structure limit, most lathe machines use A1 type tape lapper mount which use tapped holes in inner bolt circles but the A2 type do achieve high performance due to using outer tapped holes in outer bolt circles. C type mount uses screw bolt nut and belong to quick change series chucks, which can be installed and removed quickly. D type mount use draw bar structure, tightened by cam lock at the spindle noses. It also belongs to the quick change chucks.
For short taper chucks, body and cover are connected with screws, forming sealed ridged structure improving mounting accuracy, and connecting rigidity.
Now short taper chucks have been used widely in foreign countries, so it is an important and necessary machine part for lathe machines. More and more Chinese users start to use it now. The price difference is approx 25% and the atrial difference is only less than 10% if reducing the cost of making adapter plates. The cutting feature of machine tools may be improved obviously, by using the short taper chucks.
The jaws are classified as solid (or one-piece ) jaws and separate (or two-piece) jaws, two types .The separate type jaw include base jaw, hard or soft top jaw connected by screw nut. It can be adjusted into internal and external jaws using separate jaws including A and C type jaws. A type jaw designed according to ISO3442 standard which is interchangeable for connecting dimensions in the world. C type is a Chinese traditional jaws specially designed.

K72 series independent chucks include taper mount & cylindrical mount, two types. A2 mort type is widely used due to high connecting rigidity.
